WHV – Borobudur Village Project

This project aims to preserve the environment of the Borobudur Temple Compounds , a Buddhist temple in Indonesia. The volunteers will run English classes with the local communities and schools focusing on awareness raising about the Borobudur Temple Compounds. They will provide information to the visitors about the Village Project, aiming at supporting the livelihoods of the communities living in and around the site through traditional arts and craftsmanship, and will be directly involved in making pottery, Gamelan and Batik learning activities with the locals.
