The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of South Korea is funding scholarships for masters and doctorates. Italian students will be able to apply until the 8th March 2019.
Students must have a good knowledge of the Korean or English language.
The scholarships would be given from the 1st September 2019.

The University of Turin funds 15 two-year scholarships in order to support deserving students for enrolment, accommodation and living costs. Scholarships are awarded to international students enrolling for a.y. 2019-20 on the first year of a master’s degree programme offered by the University of Turin.
Scholarship value: 9,000 euros per year, gross of all charges for the beneficiary’s account.

The Portuguese organization Contextos is looking for a Portuguese participant for the European volunteer project "SuburBANG!".
This project is coordinated by YouNet and Associazone La Strada and will take place in Medicine, Italy, 36km from Bologna, where for 8 months (from 1 March 2019 to October 2019) the volunteer will have the opportunity to collaborate in social, educational and cultural activities.

MEDtalks is a youth exchange which aims at arousing curiosity towards the art of storytelling as a mean of advocacy. The project is going to be coordinated by the association of social promotion Maghweb and held in Palermo from March, the 23rd to the 29th 2019, involving young people aged from 18 to 26, belonging to different social contexts. Non-formal education activities aim at showing to the participants not only how storytelling is a powerful mean of advocacy of social issues and how it can encourage debate and exchange of ideas, but also how the participants can be actors of social change, by using efficiently the tool of storytelling in their real and virtual life. Several trainings will assist the participants in the learning process. The training for youth workers will take place from 4th -10th April 2019 in Wisła, Poland. It will be attended by 21 youth workers from 7 different countries.
Participants of the training will gain and further develop knowledge regarding Social Economy (SE) and the opportunities it gives in combating youth unemployment; become familiar with experience and lessons learnt, including non-formal education on SE and promotion of entrepreneurship; gain knowledge on how successful activities regarding promotion of entrepreneurship can be expanded by SE elements; and get to know other like-minded youth workers and organizations, who are interested in the future cooperation regarding using Social Economy education as a tool for combating youth unemployment and changing behaviors and attitudes of youth. The volunteers will run English classes with the local communities and schools focusing on awareness raising about the Borobudur Temple Compounds. They will provide information to the visitors about the Village Project, aiming at supporting the livelihoods of the communities living in and around the site through traditional arts and craftsmanship, and will be directly involved in making pottery, Gamelan and Batik learning activities with the locals.
